Manufacturing

Produzione

The manufacturing of workshop carpentry for industrial or civil plants is a complex job that must be organized in several different phases.

The first phase consists in cutting of sheets to be assembled, by using Ficep numeric controlled machines.
Particular reference is made to beams and coloumns that are cut and drilled by Ficep 903 BD machine, that is able to manage lenghts up to 16 m.

Workshops are equipped with roof cranes up to 25 tons and Merlo forklifts.  Marking of pieces is authomathically executed.

Carbon steel sheets are cut by use of several machines depending on sheet thickness.
Numeric controlled oxi-cutting machines are used for sheets having high thicknesses (available working area 16 x 3 m). For thicknesses below 20 mm, plasma cutting and CNC or guillottines are used. Drilling is executed by an automatic cutting and punching line that also provides for marking. The L profiles are cut and punched by automatic Ficep machines that automatically provide for loading, uploading and marking of profiles.

For manufacturing of polygonal piles, supports and bended carpentry, bending machines up to 2.000 tons (having overall lenght up to 14,2 m) are used.

Bending of profiles is executed by 3 to 4 barrell numeric controlled bending machine.

The manufactured items are finally assembled and welded acc. to project requirements.

The prepared profiles are assembled with prepared sheets by welding. These operations are executed by semi-automatic MIG SAW welding machines.

The heavy big electro-welded beams are assembled and welded by 2 head automatic welding machines MIG 1500 KVA.

Big polygonal towers, wind turbine towers and high dimension tubes, are welded by using mainly a Corimpex automatic plant that is able to grant a perfect coupling during job execution.

Steel structures are duly sandblasted in a dedicated plant and are finally painted inside painting hall.
