Since 1994 Monsud is active in realization of wind farms.

The Company had been selected by US Investors for starting the very first wind farm project in Italy,

financed by italian CIP 6 regulation.

From that date, Company has overall 

• designed, supplied and constructed
• more than 1.300 turbine towers 
• for an overall installed power of more than 1.000 MW.

Company has managed

• aerogeneraotor sourcing
• turbine towers' supply;

in particolar, design and the supply of turbine towers, quality control plans, 

temporary storage, orgnization of wind farm routes, streets and assemply areas, final lifting activities of

turbines and towers.

MANUFACTURING

Throughout its no. 3 workshops Monsud is equipped for the manufacturing of lattice and tubolar towers with

most innovative machinery: the capability assures up to two towers/day manufacturing.

SITE CONSTRUCTION

Monsud has developped an efficient construction methodology, using local resources for assembly and

less critical phases (material transport to site, first assembly, etc.).

Final tightening, tower and turbine lifting activities are executed by

• own specialized personnel and by
• own cranes 

having up to 500 tons lifting capacilty.
