Monsud S.p.A. has signed a contract for value of € 8.000.000 with CACIP S.p.A. (Consorzio Industriale Provinciale di Cagliari) for the executive design and implementation of the Composting Plant located at the Environmental Platform of Macchiareddu, in the municipality of Capoterra (Cagliari, Italy).
The composting plant is part of a multifunctional platform for the disposal of urban, special hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
The plant will have a capacity of 73.000 tons/year with two lines of process:
- stabilization line of the organic fraction with automated selection of MSW (49.000 tons/year);
- production line of high-quality compost starting from wet fraction of waste sorting (20.000 tons/year) and from green cuttings (4.000 tons/year).
