27 Jan Tokamak Assembly Preparation Building (TAPB) for ITER Organization

Monsud S.p.A. has signed a contract for value of € 4.500.000 with ITER for the construction of the Tokamak Assembly Preparation Building (TAPB) at its site in Saint Paul lez Durance, Cadarache, in the South of France.
The work includes the supply, installation and commissioning of the building and all its services.
The TAPB has two functions corresponding to two phases of activity:
- Phase 1: Support to Tokamak Installation from 2020 to 2024;
- Phase 2: Support to perform the Beryllium First Wall (Be FW) trial fits and storage of the Be FWs after 2024.
