Monsud S.p.A. has signed n. 2 contract for entire value of € 8.000.000 with ArcelorMittal for the supply, construction and assembly of the pylons necessary for the realization of a windbreak barrier to be built on the perimeter of the Loppa and GRF Parks of the ILVA steel mill in Taranto.
The windbreak barrier consists of 169 pylons and 37 single piles; it also completed with portals called SPs designed for mounting folding doors to allow access to parks. The pylons have a height of about 22 meters.
The works also include supply, assembly and installation of all the accessories necessary to be able to spread the windbreak nets between the pylons. The total supply of metal carpentry in about 2.000 tons.
